Over the past 5 years, Botkin has invested in and maintains the latest lumber management software and provides online connectivity to real time information.

Our company-wide lumber management software, DMSI’s Agility, allows automated inventory tracking and management for all raw material, work in progress, and finished goods.  Costs and expenses are tracked on an individual item and order basis.

The system also provides automated shipping and billing documents and tracks order status.
All of this allows very accurate and economical quotes on new products, JIT Inventory control for our customers, on time delivery and cost effective lumber purchasing practices which in turn means lower prices for our customers.

We also utilize NWPCA’s Pallet Design Software and Crate Pro to assist in design and quoting of pallets and crates.
